About OT/ICS Training

As traditionally air-gapped systems are IP-enabled, the Internet of Things (IoT) continues to proliferate, 5G enters production environments, and the attack vectors increase,  the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) 16 Critical Infrastructure Domains remain highly vulnerable. As written in the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA / SEC 1505/1541) and noted in the 2023 NDAA (SEC 6736), OT/ICS is center-stage for our National Security, impacting nearly every aspect of our lives. 

The time to get trained, certified, and proactive in the support OT/ICS domains is right now. With OT/ICS environments expecting near double-digit workforce growth in the coming several years, a skilled OT/ICS workforce will be required, as per the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), Page, 3237, Section 6736. At the same time, the International Society of Automation is doing forward-thinking work with their ISA/IEC 62443 Series of Standards. 

Malware is being strategically placed on our nation's infrastructure by threat actors. This could result in severe disruptions in our supply chain and the services that sustain life, including healthcare, food supply, energy, transpiration, and more. With already known activities against America's water treatment facilities, electrical grid operations, and transportation networks, public safety and National Defense are at risk. ​The battle against malware in infrastructure underscores the urgent need for robust cybersecurity measures, international cooperation, and constant vigilance to protect vital systems from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
